Barnes and Noble Nook eBook Reader- 3 Reasons The Nook Is Hot!
The Barnes and Noble “Nook” eBook Reader is getting some buzz, and for good reason. Here’s some reasons why the Barnes and Noble “Nook” is going to be a hot gift item this holiday season.
The Nook Allows You To Lend Books To Others- Along with the fact that you can store over 1,000 books on your device with the default memory card, the Nook also allows you to lend books to others. All they need is to have the “nook app”. This means the lendee can download the app on their Blackberry touch, or iPhone, etc, and enjoy the book for up to two weeks. The Barnes and Noble Nook Syncs With Everything- Or just about…it uses the new Google software, Android, which allows it to sync with your lap top, iPhone, Blackberry, and 100’s of other devices. It’s really the first of it’s kind and should be a hit on the market. The Nook Has A Color Navigation Screen- Where the Kindle, Kindle 2, and Sony Reader just have gray-tones on their navigation screen, the Nook boasts a full color navigation screen. So you can peruse titles of books, magazines and other publications in full color.
So there’s a few good reasons the Nook is going to be a strong fighter in the war of eBook Readers this holiday season.
Barnes and Noble smartly priced the Nook comparable to the Kindle 2 as well. In fact, they are priced the same at the moment, we’ll have to see how long that lasts.
